A Classic Approach
In all things, in the care of our riverside vineyard, in the cultivation of our grapes, in the making of our wines and in their presentation to you, we uphold a classic approach.
Our wine label describes our brand thus: "At a beautiful bend in the Chester River, you will find the bountiful lands of Clovelly ~ a third-generation, Maryland Eastern Shore farm established in 1959. Our ethos reflects the meaning of the name itself, 'earthworks'. Our wines are borne from the rich earth and the warm river breezes. Our love of all things classic and timeless perseveres. "
100% Hand Harvested
Clovelly wines are made from grapes planted on our waterfront vineyard. The vineyard parallels the Chester River at one of its most beautiful curves. The Chester River is a major tributary of the Chesapeake Bay on the Delmarva Peninsula, spanning approximately 43 miles into the interior of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
Our grapes benefit from the warm river breezes of the Chester and the rich soils of Clovelly Farm. Our wines are made from 100% hand harvested Clovelly grapes. We welcome you to learn more about our vineyard and to enjoy our wines.
